Sam the Working Man
Sorry I haven't updated my blog recently. I've been busy with work and haven't been able to do any work on the mustang. So yeah in case you didn't hear i've been working for ADT selling home security systems. It's a door to door sales job so it's a lot of walking but it's the only job i could find. So if anyone is interested in buying a security system just let me know. (wink, wink)

New Brakes
So today Dad and I replaced the rear drums and brake pads because that's what real men do on the weekends. But apparently drum brakes are much harder to replace since they use a series of springs to hold them together. You can actually really hurt your hands if you don't know what you're doing. But anyways it didn't take to long probably like an hour and a half to complete the job. I'm not sure what were doing on the car next week but i'll make sure i post about it. So yeah I think that's it.
the inside of the drum after we took it apart.
some of the small springs and one of the old brake pads
the old drum
the new pads
the finished product. I think it looks a lot better.

Another post??
What????two posts that aren't spread out by six months. Sam you must be crazy!! This is what you're all probably thinking right now. But i am not crazy! I just came up with an ingenious idea. I have decided to use my blog to let everyone no about the progress on the mustang. So first i will give you an update on all the stuff we've done so far. First we tuned up the engine, then we changed the gas tank, after that we rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the fuel pump, and re-adjusted the timing. Now Big Tom and I have concluded that we need to do a complete brake job since the pads were worn and they started to cut a groove into the drums. So as you can see I'm pretty manly now that I work on cars in my free time. And if I do say so myself I'm getting pretty good at it. So anyways I guess that's it.
Man I'm awesome!!!!!
if the car looks wet that's because it is.

So i guess it's about time i post something. Since the last post i have is from November. So lots of stuff has happened since then. First i now am a licensed driver in the state of california (pause for applause) thank you. Second i am almost done with school so that's pretty exciting. Also for those of you in my massive blog following who are unaware my dad and i are restoring a 1964 1/2 mustang. It's gonna be pretty sweet when we're done. and i guess that's pretty much it. wow that really wasn't that much at all. oh well. so here are some pics of the 'stang and a self portrait of myself.

My Week of Domination
That's right I backed it up. In my rematch with Brian I prevailed with scores of 6-2, 2-6, and 6-2. Thus pronouncing my tennis supremacy to the world. I guess my practice with Daniel paid off. And then if that was not enough humiliation for Brian for one week I then proceeded to dominate him at Wii tennis as well. So I would say it was a pretty good week. Also thanks to Natalie for the Pictures.

The Rematch Pt. 1
Yesterday I was informed that if weather will allow it when I visit natalie and brian there will be a rematch. Many of you may remember my epic victory last time when I dominated the first game and then let up a bit to make the game more interesting. Apparently this time though Brian has been practicing so that he doesn't get embarrassed. So since I haven't played in over two months I decided I should start practicing. But I am pretty confident that even after a two month lay-off I will still be able to easily handle Brian. So I would like to take this time and publicly announce that I guarantee to win(if we play). Stay tuned for the result.
