My Sample of England in America

Today I ventured to San Pedro with my parents and Chris to check out some tall sailing ships. Some of them were pretty old and had been featured in some movies Like Master and Commander and Hook. But what I didn't expect to see there was an English style double decker bus. It took us on a tour around the city to see some of the newer developments around the port but I think that the best part of the tour was laughing at the way the driver and his crew member were dressed. So all together I would say it was a pretty good trip.

Pay Day

Today was the big day. I finally got paid for letting my room be used in what some might call a money making "scheme" and on some levels I might tend to agree with you but for those of you at home who are saying man what a sweet deal you should now that there was also a lot of hard work and sacrifice involved. First I had to clean my room which believe me is no small task. Then I had to clean up the main parts of the house and try to organize the computer room as well as clean the floor and the bathroom. And on top of that I had to sleep in Christopher's room which is quite the sacrifice because as some of you may remember when we asked Lauren what that smell was she "oh it's just Christopher's room" and believe me she was not joking around. But now I have my money and I can live in style for however long $300 will get me.

I finally gave in to the peer pressure.

After rave reviews from my first blog post I received countless requests asking for more. So here it is. As some of you know I have what some might call a "scheme" going by letting a foreign exchange student stay in my room. But I think it is nice to help people out from time to time. Especially if you are compensated well. So the student arrived yesterday and everything seems to be going according to plan. The only draw back is that I have had to move back into my old room and sleep in a far less roomy twin bed. But it will all be worth it in a week when I get my money.
Till next time.
